How to make jewelry out of old cookies?/ Kako napraviti nakit od starih kolača?

step no.1: paint the cookies with a paint of your choice  (I've used acrylic colours and nail polish ) /obojite kolačiće, ja sam koristila akrilne boje i lak za nokte

I don't need to mention you have to let them dry, do I? ...and the fact they must be hard cookies?/ Ne moram spominjati da ih treba ostaviti da se osuše, zar ne? kao i činjenicu da ovo mora biti tvrda vrsta kolača?


Step number 3- Having pierced the cookie with a needle, you should put a thread through it and improvise a necklace. You can make it from the thread or use a satin cord, or use a combination of the two (as I have). Let your imagination run wild. I've included plenty of photos of necklaces that I have been making lately to give you some inspiration. I'm thinking about making another post about this eco-friendly technique of making jewelry that I have just came up with....we'll see. As always, thank you for reading.

 Korak broj tri....dakle, kada ste probušili kolač, stavite konac kroz njega i napravite ogrlicu za njega kakvu želite. Možete koristiti konac ili kao ja kombinaciju konca i satenske trake (ili što god vam se nađe pri ruci) Pustite mašti na volju. Ja sam uključila dosta fotografija ogrlica koje sam pravila u zadnje vrijeme...ako imate nekih pitanja, ostavite ih u komentarima...Možda napravim još koji post o ovoj ekološkoj tehnici izrade koju sam izmislila, vidjeti ćemo.     Zanimljivo, pogodno za "na brzinu" kad nam treba detalj u nekoj boji ili određenog oblika. Podseća me na liciderska srca koja su pravljena od testa i koja mogu da se nose i oko vrata.

 Welcome Spring! We welcome thy beauty! We also fear thy evil twin- The Spring Fatigue. Like in a telenovela, one rarely comes without the other. Let there be colour! (outfit post) / Neka bude boja (odjevna kombinacija)

It was over 40 degrees Celsius (that's over 100 Fahrenheit) when these photographs were taken. Seriously! I'm obviously a desert type when I'm able to enjoy being out at midday in a city that is practically an oven. If you did not know Mostar city is surrounded by mountains and hills which pretty much turns it into an urban oven. Yes, this city is a champion of unbelievably high temperatures during the Summer. So, this hat was as much a necessity as a fashion statement. Wearing a hat when temperature is over 100 Fahrenheit is a sound idea, believe me.   Hello readers and fellow bloggers!  Welcome Spring. What does Spring means to you?  To me, it means a great many things. This year, it meant a possibility of a longer spring break. As the school I'm currently teaching in is an International one, obviously this means different cultures and nationalities. We try to organize our school breaks in a way to meet everyone's cultural needs. This year we opted for a shorter winter break in favour of a longer spring one. 10 STYLE LESSONS LEARNED FROM MALENA/ MONICA BELLUCCI

With summer being in full spring, I caught myself thinking about iconic summer outfits. Do you know what came to my mind? Costumes/outfits worn by Monica Belluci when she played Malena Scordia in an iconic Italian movie set on Sicily.  The costumes for that movie were designed by an acclaimed Italian costume designer Maurizio Millenotti and he outdone himself! Seeing that Malena is a historical movie, Maurizio choose quite timeless outfits and cuts that will ever go out of style. That fact makes Malena movie the perfect place to look for inspiration! Moreover, I feel that Monica Belluci's personal style is quite similar to Malena's (i.e. to the style of the character she is playing). Painting of the day (A Lioness) / Slika dana (Lavica)

When I woke up this morning, the first thing I did was walk to the kitchen. Naturally, I was there to make coffee (can’t start a day without it) but while I was at it, I decided to also make a nice cup of warm chocolate. I figured that one can’t have too many warm drinks when the weather is misbehaving. Plus, I wanted something to drink right away, and because preparing coffee my style takes a while (wouldn’t be caught dead drinking instant coffee;)) I opted for warm chocolate first and it was nice but I have to remember to make my own instant coffee again, I’m sure that stuff they sell in shops are full of all kinds of unhealthy stuff. Speaking of health, I have had a cold for a week now, my throat is still sore and my vocal cords are in pitiful state.  I'm not a big fan of my voice right now, but most people seem to like it. If you spent each day on a different Croatian island, it would take you three years to visit them all, as there are more than a 1, 200 islands in Croatia. I visted only one Croatian island this Summer and I'm currently trying to work out in my head how many of them I have visited in my lifetime. Alas, only a handful of them. So many Croatian islands to visit, so little time!   Standing on my grandmother's terrace, I realize the root of my fascination with rocks.
